We have something really special to announce as part of our Lindisfarne Story UK Tour: If you fancy a trip to Amsterdam with two nights of Lindisfarne-based entertainment, then this is for you...
In partnership with DFDS and The Jumpin' Hot Club, the Lindisfarne Story is taking to the high seas!
Ray Laidlaw and Billy Mitchell will present the show on-board the DFDS King on Sunday 16th and Monday 17th October. You'll see Act 1 on the trip out to Amsterdam, and Act 2 on the return journey to Newcastle. Both performances featuring extra songs and material that normally don't feature in the show.
In addition, our old pal Martin Stephenson will be doing a set before Ray and Billy, and top North East DJ Kyle Jackson (yes, it's his son) will be spinning discs from Lindisfarne, Jack the Lad, Alan Hull, Radiator, Pacamax and related artistes between the sets. And to top it off, you'll get a full day in Amsterdam between the outward and return journeys. Sounds like a top trip, don't you think..?
Entry to the gigs is free to anyone travelling on the ship, so all you have to do is buy a ticket to travel. Get ticket info from here: www.dfds.co.uk/sounds
